EU funding for the renovation of the town hall in Ptuj

SLOVENIA, July 3 - The town hall, a major cultural monument of local significance, the seat of the city administration, and one of Ptuj’s symbols, will undergo a comprehensive renovation. The building is in poor condition and in need of repair, especially the roof and roof structure. The project will also result in the renovation of the building’s fixtures, restoration of the facade, improvement of energy efficiency, and ensuring accessibility for persons with reduced mobility. The project also includes structural reinforcement of the building and improvements to the functionality of the spaces.

The implementation of this project will preserve an important part of our cultural heritage for future generations, while also transforming the town hall into a modern, sustainable, energy-efficient and safer public building. A total of 3,260 square metres of space will be restored and renovated.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The €3,761,213.68 project will receive €2,955,454.33 from the European Regional Development Fund. The beneficiary of the funding is the Urban Municipality of Ptuj.
